THOMPSONS HIGHLIGHT

Thompsons Highlight is by the Sire Boxhurst Tyson who was highly
successful in both the show ring and the Campdraft arena.

Thompson’s Highlight is a lovely gentle mare with a kind nature. She is beautiful conformed and
passes both these attributes through to her foals. Thompson’s Highlight has been a very consistent
broodmare for the Stud, producing outstanding foals including Wenona Benchmark-Top-priced yearling
at the ASHs National Yearling Sale 2002 and Wenona Amy(AUS) first ASH Filly to be exported to the USA.

 

WENONA NIKITA

Wenona Nikita is by Big Hat who is a Sire of many champions in the Hack Ring.
Her Dam, Cattle Senorita (who carries the bloodlines of Cattle King),
was a champion all-round competition mare.

Wenona Nikita is a lovely, quiet mare who has bred some of our best performance horses she
is a full sister to Wenona Paris (the Dam of Glen Gough’s outstanding performance horse
Wenona Special Edition). She continues to raise outstanding foals with superb temperaments
and outstanding conformation.

 

RESONENDA

Resonenda (Sire: Nuniong Radiant Echo, Dam: Merienda) has impeccable breeding, being the
granddaughter of the renowned Sire Lunchtime through her Damand a great granddaughter of
Star Kingdom through her Sire. Resonenda was purchased as a broodmare for her exquisite
looks, extravagant movement and superb temperament.

Wenona Vienna is by the Sire Breffni Kidman (AUS) (see his Sire’s page) and her Dam
Wenona Nikita is by Big Hat (Sire of many champions in the Hack ring) out of a Cattle
King Mare who was a champion all-round competition horse.

Wenona Vienna was an award-winning Hack in the Show ring including the ASHS National
Shows and Sydney Royal. She has now been retired to broodmare status and is currently in
foal to Beechmont Wenona’s Choice (AUS) with her first foal.

 

WENONA PARIS

Wenona Paris is by Breffni Kidman (AUS)(refer to his Sire page) and her Dam is Wenona Nikita.
Wenona Nikita is by Big Hat (Sire of many champions in the Hack ring) out of a Cattle King Mare
who was a champion all-round competition horse.

Wenona Paris is a mare with an outstanding temperament and lovely conformation. She was bred by
our stud and during her initial handling she was always a very willing and trainable filly. She was broken
in and going kindly under saddle and was then transferred to brood mare status due to her exceptional
qualities. She is the dam of rising star Wenona Special Edition owned and ridden by Glen Gough who
recently won the QLD Inaugural Super Horse Challenge as a 2yr old against open horses!

 

WENONA COUNTRY FAIR

Wenona Country Fair is by Breffni Kidman (AUS) and her dam is Resonenda. She was retained
by the stud for property work due to her impressive looks and her outstanding temperament.
She has produced an beautiful filly-Wenona Maddison who is currently being prepared for her
yearling class at the Gilgandra ASHS State Show and is listed in our Sale Ring.

 

BOULBY TINYS IMAGE

Boulby Tiny’s Image carries the renowned bloodlines of Reality and Cecil Bruce.
She was recently purchased by the stud and produced a stylish gelding in
2004-Wenona Legacy who has a lovely kind nature.

 

BOULBY JEWEL

Boulby Jewel carries the popular bloodlines of Yarramine Swagman- a Sire of
Champions in many fields. She was purchased recently by the stud for her
Swagman bloodlines and has produced a lovely filly foal-Wenona Maren.
Her filly has outstanding conformation and a quiet nature.

 

BOULBY MY GIRL

Boulby My Girl carries the renowned bloodlines of Reality- a Sire found in many
Champion’s pedigrees. She was recently purchased by the stud for her conformation
and her breeding. Boulby My Girl has produced her first foal for the stud Wenona
Classic who has impressed us with her lovely temperament and outstanding
conformation (and is listed in the sale Ring).
