The past few months we have seen a couple of major competitions. Congratulations to all those competitors at the 2010 National Show, Warwick. I was fortunate enough to attend the National Show in Warwick. Although the weather was not so kind on that weekend, the hospitability from South Queensland Management Council was very warm and friendly. As with any event, volunteers are critical to the success. Thank you to all those involved before, during and after the show.
Last weekend I was invited to attend the 10 year reunion of the Heritage Horse Ride. Listening to the experiences and tales of their journey was quite inspiring. From all accounts, a good time was had by all.
This weekend I am off to Mareeba, QLD to facilitate another Level 1 Judges Accreditation Workshop. I would like to remind all Members that if you are interested in any of the following accreditations, please complete the applicable nomination form and return to Head Office ASAP
- Branch Coach (offered free of charge). Once we have sufficient nominations from Branches for the Branch Coach Accreditation we will look at scheduling workshops.
- Level 1 Coach ($1,000 payable upon acceptable into the program). AT this stage, it is hoped that the first Level 1 Coaches Accreditation will be held prior to Christmas, depending upon availability of participants.
- Level 1 Accredited Judge (offered free of charge). A workshop is planned for South East Queensland prior to Christmas
