Event Planning

ASHS Branches & Management Councils host many events and activities for Members around Australia.

These events are organised by innumerable and invaluable volunteers who are enormously generous with their time.  The dates for these events are listed on our Coming Events (calendar).

The following documents will assist Branches & Management Councils with Event Planning.

Head Office must be advised of ALL events planned by Branches or Management Councils via the Event Notification form, before advertising details.

This allows the Society to begin the approval process and ensure that the event is covered by the Society’s Public Liability Insurance Policy.  

Approval will not be finalised until all required documents have been received by the Society.

Temporary Memberships

Temporary Memberships are designed to offer non-ASHS Members the opportunity to attend a Branch event or activity (where applicable). Temporary Members are encouraged to formally join the Society, where they can continue to compete and be involved with our great Breed.

Temporary Members will join the Society at a discounted rate, when taking out a FULL or YOUTH Membership with the Society, within six months of attending the Branch event.

Temporary Membership Fees for Branch non-competition days only, have been reduced.
