The Prince of Wales Trophy is awarded annually in recognition of an Australian Stock Horse that has achieved a number of prestigious performances across a range of disciplines.
The winner of the Trophy should epitomise the true versatility of the Breed and demonstrate the ability to perform at a high level in three disciplines in the calendar year. A Member may nominate a fully registered Australian Stock Horse owned by an ASHS Financial Member.
On a separate sheet attached to the nomination form, the Member should submit a profile of the horse including details of its achievements in the calendar year and reasons why the horse should be selected for the Prince of Wales Trophy. The emphasis is on the prestige of awards won.
